The Decadent Dog is owned and operated by Patti Jessup and Curtis Tysinger. Patti is a former large and giant breed dog groomer and is well aware of the strength a collar should possess to properly handle dogs weighing in excess of 100 lbs.  She specializes in handcrafting martingale and buckle dog collars and velvet leashes for large and giant breed dogs that are as durable as they are beautiful.  Curtis owned and operated a commercial sign business for 25 years. Today in his retirement, he crafts super cute personalized wooden collar and leash holders with "dog butt" hooks for walls to help owners organize their pet accessories. All items are handcrafted in our studio in North Carolina.

For once I feel like I won’t be buying another collar in 4 months due to poor quality because these collars are definitely made to last. The thickness on my 160lb dog is perfect, the color is absolutely beautiful and the quality and durability has blown me away. It was shipped and at my door in less than a week also, definitely ordering another!
